The vinyeard was implanted in 1997 by passionate winemakers Marco and Mapi Caldani. As well as owning the plot the Caldanis live by and in the vineyard with their children and grandchildren.

Having established the cantina under enologist Graziana Grassini's supervision, first cru saw light in 2003 under the 'Gelso' and 'Lilium' labels.

The focus and care devoted to both terroir and vineyeard, coupled with the adoption of traditional winemaking techniques, issue in total quality wines.

Each step of the process is devoted the level of care and attention that only a family run enterprise can deliver: passion, high standards and commitment bear precious fruit.
